Auction process

How our online vehicle auctions work.

5 Point Auto Group gives registered buyers a structured way to bid on repossessed, bank-recovered, fleet, and lien-release vehicles online. Every auction is handled through a clear process: review the lot, place your offer, complete the purchase, finalize documents, and arrange pickup or delivery.

Before you bid

A clean process from lot review to vehicle release.

Our listings are designed to give buyers the information needed before submitting an offer, including photos, title type, mileage, equipment details, location, pricing, and auction timing when available.

Because inventory may come from recovery, fleet, lender, or lien-release channels, pricing can be different from traditional retail listings. Buyers should review the full lot page carefully and contact our office before bidding if they need clarification.

A submitted bid or approved Buy Now request is treated as a commitment to complete the purchase. Please confirm your budget, shipping plan, and readiness to settle before placing an offer.

What buyers should prepare

Being prepared helps avoid delays after an auction closes.

  • Valid buyer account information and reachable phone/email.
  • Readiness to settle the purchase once it is approved.
  • Shipping or pickup plan based on the vehicle location.
  • Review of all listing photos, notes, title status, and mileage.

How we keep the process clear

Our team focuses on transparent communication and organized transaction handling.

  • Lot-based listings with clear vehicle information where available.
  • Buyer dashboard updates for bids, purchases, invoices, and documents.
  • Office support for title paperwork and release timing.
  • A named agent on every completed purchase.
Important: bids and approved purchases are binding. Do not submit an offer unless you are ready to complete payment, sign the required documents, and arrange pickup or delivery within the stated timeframe.

What our customers say

📍 Columbus, Ohio

I enjoyed the experience for the most part. Selling my old car and buying another one through 5 Point Auto Group was easier than any car purchase I’ve made before. The only thing that got on my nerves was the waiting, but honestly, the delays weren’t too bad considering the circumstances. A delivery truck breaking down is something nobody can really control. Everyone I dealt with was great. They kept checking in, giving me updates, and making sure I was doing okay. Thanks, 5 Point Auto Group. I’ve already recommended you guys to pretty much everyone I know.

Everything went smoothly right up until I picked up the vehicle. When I got the Maserati, the check engine light was flashing and the interior was dirty. 5 Point Auto Group let me take it in for a diagnostic test during the seven day trial period, and thankfully, it didn’t show any major mechanical problems. Still, the car should have been cleaned properly, and the warning light should have been taken care of before I ever picked it up. Hopefully, they tighten up those details before I buy from them again.

I work from home and really don’t have time to spend my day driving around and looking at cars. 5 Point Auto Group was a perfect fit for me because I could browse everything online and find the exact car I wanted without leaving home.

This is the second car we’ve bought through 5 Point Auto Group, and so far, we love it. My only complaint is how dirty the car was when it arrived. I have two young kids, so trust me, I understand that cars get messy. But finding crushed Cheerios ground into the back seat and sticky residue on some of the rear buttons was pretty gross. It won’t stop us from buying from 5 Point Auto Group again, but it’s definitely something they need to do a better job with.

I’ve bought more than 10 vehicles over the years, and my experience with 5 Point Auto Group was easily the best one yet. There was none of the usual dealership hassle, no pushy sales tactics, and no surprise fees or hidden charges. The whole process was simple and straightforward.

📍 Nashville, Tennessee

The process was quick and efficient. I didn’t have to waste hours sitting around a dealership, and they delivered the new car straight to my house. The seven-day return window gave me enough time to have the car checked out at an Alfa Romeo service center. That gave me real peace of mind and confirmed that I had made the right choice.
