Highlights from the floor

  • A clean-title 2016 BMW 3 Series repo from the credit union floor — sold for $18,900.
  • A fleet-pulled 2022 RAM 1500 that closed at $38,400, well above pre-sale estimate.
  • A non-runner 2019 Tesla Model 3 purchased as a project for $32,900 by a local independent dealer.

When I got the Maserati, the check engine light was flashing and the interior was dirty. 5 Point Auto Group let me take it in for a diagnostic test during the seven day trial period, and thankfully, it didn’t show any major mechanical problems. Still, the car should have been cleaned properly, and the warning light should have been taken care of before I ever picked it up. Hopefully, they tighten up those details before I buy from them again.

This is the second car we’ve bought through 5 Point Auto Group, and so far, we love it. My only complaint is how dirty the car was when it arrived. I have two young kids, so trust me, I understand that cars get messy. But finding crushed Cheerios ground into the back seat and sticky residue on some of the rear buttons was pretty gross. It won’t stop us from buying from 5 Point Auto Group again, but it’s definitely something they need to do a better job with.
